People who travel abroad, who travel collectively, or are in close contact with corona-infected people, test positive for COVID-19 more often, the Korona study shows.

According to the letter sent to all participants in the study on Monday, health workers who work with COVID-19 patients also test positive more often than other health workers.

The preliminary results also show that some of those who use public transport are more exposed to infection compared to others.

A total of 144,000 Norwegians with and without COVID-19 are included in the Korona study.

The goal is to find out how the virus spreads and what risk factors affect the disease’s course.
