More than NOK 700 million has been collected to support Ukraine through voluntary organizations in Norway.

Fundraising Norge has mapped how much Norwegian donors have contributed after the war broke out in Ukraine at the end of February.

Fundraising Norge assists Norwegian organizations involved in fundraising, the newspaper Vårt Land writes.

“There is great willingness to give among the Norwegian people,” Secretary-General Siri Nodland in Fundraising Norge said.

The Red Cross has received as much as NOK 230 million from private people and businesses since the war broke out on February 24. This is the largest fundraising campaign since the tsunami in 2004, when NOK 400 million was raised.

The Red Cross has collected the most money, and the NRC is in second place with NOK 81.5 million.
