The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (UD) is working to bring in a small number of Norwegian citizens located in Hubei Province in China. They will not be quarantined, according to VG.

“We have contact with a small number of Norwegians. Together with other European countries, efforts are being made to facilitate assisted departure from Wuhan for those who wish,” says communication adviser Mari Bangstad of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to NTB.

How many people are involved in this, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not want to disclose. They also do not have a complete overview of the number of Norwegians in the area.

“The Norwegians who are to be brought back have no symptoms of the virus,” says Preben Aavitsland at the Public Health Institute to VG.
