On the last day of the month a temperature of 27.4 was recorded at Notodden. Thereby having the Telemark Municipality share the record for the highest temperature in July with Pasvik in East Finnmark. 

The airport at Notodden rose up to this year’s peak in July with 27.4 degrees on Friday. 

The temperature was the same as what was recorded in Pasvik in Sør-Varanger Municipality on the 20th of July.

-” Even if it is warm, we have to go back to 1951 for a lower maximum temperature in July.”, The Meteorological Institute informs on Twitter.
