Now Slottsparken will get secured access for cars

This week, work will begin on securing the Palace Park. The goal is to prevent cars without permission from driving into the park or up to the Castle.

In a statement on its own website, the Castle emphasizes that the measures will not hinder pedestrians and cyclists, and that the public should have the same access to the Palace Park as before.

Essentially, the security measures will follow the outer park’s boundary, and will consist of gates, bollards, fences and walls.

The work will be completed by autumn 2021.
