NTB: One person in Innlandet died earlier this year after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine
A person in Søndre Land in Innlandet died after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine earlier this year. The death is now registered as a death related to the vaccine, NTB writes.
A person in Søndre Land died after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine. A new report concludes that the vaccine was the cause of the person’s death.
The person received the AstraZeneca vaccine when it was still in use at the beginning of 2021. A few days after being vaccinated, the person was transported to the hospital in pain, the newspaper Oppland Arbeiderblad writes.
The person’s heart stopped shortly after, and the person was pronounced dead. The first report concluded that underlying diseases were the cause of death.
However, a final report six months later concludes that the AstraZeneca vaccine was the trigger. The use of the AstraZeneca vaccine was stopped in Norway in March after reports of serious side effects.
