Number of corona patients admitted to Norwegian hospitals continues to be stable
51 corona-infected patients were being treated in Norwegian hospitals on Wednesday, the same number as Tuesday. Eleven patients are receiving respirator treatment, which is also the same as on Tuesday, according to new figures from the Directorate of Health.
38 people are hospitalized in Health Southeast, three in Health West, five in Health Central Norway and five in Health North.
Across the health authorities, the majority of patients are admitted to Oslo University Hospital with twelve. At Helse Bergen there is one hospitalized corona patient, while there are six patients at Akershus University Hospital.
234 corona-infected people in Norway were reported to have died by Wednesday morning. 8,268 people were infected by the virus up to Wednesday, according to figures from the Norwegian Surveillance System for Communicable Diseases (MSIS).
