After the subway grid in Oslo was reorganized, up to every other departure has been delayed.
– We have noticed an increase in the number of delays. So far in 2016 70 percent of the departures have been on time, but in recent weeks things have gotten worse, communications manager Cato Asperud in Sporveien says toNRK.
The reason for the delays are changes that were made in early April. In addition to all departure times being changed and several of the lines getting new terminuses, the Løren line was also opened.
According to Asperud the delays are caused by “running in-problems” for the new operating system, power outages and problems with signaling and safety system.
– In order to get to the 2015 level with a punctuality rate of over 80 percent, we are now putting initiatives into effect, he said.
