An older man died on Thursday after the car he was in drove into a tree at Nedstrand in Tysvær Municipality in Rogaland.
At 6:30 AM, the Southwestern Police District was notified that a car with two people inside drove into a tree in Tysvær Municipality in Rogaland. The police stated on Twitter that it appeared to be a serious accident.
Operations manager Dag Steinkopf stated that an 80-year-old man died in the accident.
“He was with his son in the car. The son is lightly injured,” Steinkopf said in a press release.
The man’s other relatives have been notified. The operations manager says the police will investigate the accident.
