The Danish health authorities stated that a corona-infected person who was in the audience at a large concert in the Danish city of Aalborg this weekend had been diagnosed with omicron infection.

A corona-infected person was among the audience at the concert of DJ Martin Jensen in Aalborg this weekend.

On Wednesday, the Danish Agency for Patient Safety informed Danmarks Radio (DR) that omicron infection was confirmed.

All the 1,600 participants and 400 people who stayed in the cultural center’s foyer the same evening have been encouraged to test themselves.

“The important thing is that people are tested as quickly as possible today and again the day after tomorrow, and they must pay special attention to symptoms. And if they have symptoms, they must go into isolation and be PCR-tested,” deputy director Birgitte Drewens at Aalborg Congress and Culture Center (AKKC) stated.

The health authorities in Denmark have recently tightened their infection tracing routines.
