The nightclub Tavernaen in Kongsvinger reported a fire on Sunday night. No one was injured in the fire. Police have arrested one person.
The police received a report of the fire around 2 AM on Sunday.
The building in which the nightclub Tavernaen is located was badly damaged in the fire. The venue is close to the Kongsvinger police station.
“The police have arrested and charged a person for arson – the fire could easily have led to the loss of human life,” the press release states.
Police ask for tips from witnesses who may have seen something before or after the fire. They are asked to contact the police via the tip line: 02800.
