One person has died in what is likely to be a stabbing incident in Asker. Police are looking for a perpetrator who was seen running from the scene.

The police received a report of the incident, which took place in Hurumveien in Asker, at 12:34 PM on Friday.

Reanimation attempts were carried out on site, but the victim’s life could not be saved. At 1:30 PM, the police stated that the person in question had been declared dead.

“I do not want to say anything about the age or gender. We are now working on identifying the person, and therefore the relatives have not been notified yet,” operations manager Christian Krohn Engseth in the Oslo Police District told NTB.
