A person has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed at Grünerløkka in Oslo. One person has been arrested, according to the police.
The police were notified of the incident at 10:44 AM.
A passer-by spotted a person bleeding profusely from his stomach outside the entrance to a block of flats at Grünerløkka.
“The person in question has been stabbed… and has been taken to Ullevål hospital with serious injuries,” operations manager Tore Solberg in the Oslo Police District told NTB.
Witness interviews are being conducted.
“It’s quite chaotic on site. We are trying to determine the course of events, but we have not arrested anyone yet,” Solberg said.
