Oslo: 156 new corona cases registered in the last 24 hours

A total of 156 new corona infection cases have been registered in Oslo in the last 24 hours – 51 fewer than the same day last week and 61 fewer than on Thursday.

In the last two weeks, an average of 203 infection cases has been registered per day. The peak of infection in Oslo was registered on August 30 this year, with 680 cases in one day.

The infection rates are highest in the Søndre Nordstrand district, with an infection pressure of 746 infected per 100,000 inhabitants in the last two weeks. 

The figures are lowest in the St. Hanshaugen, Sagene, and Grünerløkka districts.

A total of 52,952 Oslo citizens have been registered as infected since March last year.
