A 23-year-old man is accused of trying to kill a man in his 20s at the Brynseng Metro station in Oslo in August last year.

According to the indictment, the victim was shot in the chest and the upper arm.

“The injuries were potentially life-threatening, but the victim survived because he received prompt medical treatment,” the indictment notes.

The 23-year-old man is also charged with illegally carrying firearms in public.

The accused admitted to the circumstances of the case after the shooting incident but denied that he intended to kill the victim.
