Oslo: 41-year-old man charged with murder agrees to four weeks in custody

The man accused of killing his friend at Oslo City Hall agreed to be remanded in custody for four weeks.

The 41-year-old murder suspect will be remanded in custody for four weeks with a visit ban, as well as a two-week media ban, police lawyer Rita Parnas told news bureau NTB.

His lawyer, Mette Yvonne Larsen, stated that her client agreed to four weeks in prison, but not to the ban on letters, media, and visits.

“He agrees to the imprisonment so that the police can do the investigations they are supposed to,” she told NTB.
