A total of 864 new corona infection cases have been registered in Oslo in the last 24 hours. That is 67 fewer than the same day last week and 183 fewer than the day before.

In the last two weeks, an average of 908 infection cases have been registered per day, according to the figures on the Oslo Municipality’s website.

Before the weekend, an infection record was set with 1,150 registered infection cases in the capital. Lower numbers for Saturday may be due to fewer tests on the weekends.

The infection rates are highest in the Søndre Nordstrand district, with an infection pressure of 2,780 infected people per 100,000 inhabitants in the last two weeks.

The figures are lowest in Nordre Aker, Frogner, and Sagene districts.

A total of 80,511 Oslo citizens have been registered as infected with corona since March last year.
