As a result of the infection situation in the Oslo region, the Oslo Police District is now closing its passport offices and canceling the immigration administration appointments.

The police announced the decision in a press release.

The passport offices will initially be closed from Wednesday, March 17, and up to April 9.

“We will be available by phone during normal phone hours, and it will be possible to order a passport if it is for a critically important trip,” the police added.

At the same time, the section for immigration administration has decided to cancel appointments. Applications for residence permits can be submitted digitally, the police noted.
