TV 2 reports that the man was convicted on Friday. The case was treated as a confession case, as the former lawyer acknowledged all the circumstances.

The lawyer, who previously lived in Moss, admitted to having transferred the money to his company account by making fictitious invoices and falsifying client bank statements.

According to Økokrim, fake bookkeeping was carried out to cover up the ongoing embezzlement. According to the verdict, the offenses took place over a period of seven years.
