Shots were fired at a pub in Grønland in Oslo on Saturday. The Oslo police have started an extensive investigation.

The police tweeted that a shot had been reported at 1:16 AM on Saturday and moved out with several patrols. Marks of several shots were found on a wall in the area. The shots were probably fired from a handgun.

“We have not been notified of any injured people, and we don’t have information on the cause of the incident,” operations manager Sven Christian Lie in the Oslo Police District told NTB.

“Information from the questioning of witnesses indicates that there are four to five shots,” police lawyer Line Presthus informed NTB.

“No one was hurt”

The police say they take the case very seriously and that they have started an extensive investigation.

“Luckily, no one was injured,” Anders Johnsrud in the Oslo police told Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK).

No one has been arrested in the case yet, but the current police hypothesis is that the shooting took place in connection with a known conflict between criminal gangs in Oslo, according to NRK.
