From March 1, 2020, to February 2022, 53,373 overtime working hours have been registered at Diakonhjemmet Hospital in Oslo. Hired temps are not included in the figures.

The overtime working hours are linked to the coronavirus, and the figures do not include the working hours of hired substitutes, the newspaper Avisa Oslo writes. The most overtime hours were registered in April 2020, a total of 9,000 hours.

Due to work associated with the coronavirus, 8,885 treatments have been postponed during the pandemic. At the same time, 8,600 days of leave related to the coronavirus have been registered. A total of 1,200 employees have been quarantined, which amounts to a total of 12,500 quarantine days.

Diakonhjemmet hospital has had the second most corona admissions per 1,000 inhabitants in the country, according to the hospital’s own calculations.

The hospital is the local hospital for the inhabitants of the Ullern, Vestre Aker, and Frogner districts.
