A man in his 20s has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after a man in his 40s was found seriously injured in Osterhaus’ street in central Oslo on Sunday morning.
Late Sunday night, a man in his 20s was arrested and charged with attempted murder as a result of an investigation, the Oslo Police District announced in a press release.
The police wrote that they plan to interrogate the accused on Monday. The man will be produced for custody on Tuesday.
The police were notified of the incident at 6:59 AM on Sunday after a witness saw a person lying on the street and calling for help.
The man in his 40s is seriously injured after being stabbed with a sharp object, but the police wrote on Monday that the man is not in danger.
