This week, a man in his 60s will appear in front of the district court, charged with abusing his daughter for about ten years. For a period, the man is said to have raped his daughter on a weekly basis.

According to the indictment, the abuse started in the early 2000s when the daughter was under ten years old, and it is said to have happened regularly at various addresses in Oslo.

According to the indictment, as the girl got older, the abuse became more serious.

When the girl was 16-17 years old, the father is said to have raped her on a weekly basis. She was “unable to resist the actions as her mental ability to resist it perished,” the indictment states.

As a result of the abuse, the girl, who is now an adult, has developed post-traumatic stress disorder and panic disorder.

Five days have been set aside for the case in Oslo District Court this and next week.
