A man in his 50s has been sentenced to two years and eleven months in prison for sexually abusing his stepdaughter, who is in her 20s.

The stepdaughter, who had a temporary residence permit, explained in court that the stepfather stated “If you want to live in Norway, then you will be completely quiet” before the abuse took place in Oslo in August 2019.

The explanation was supported by other evidence, and the court decided on a prison sentence of two years and eleven months.

The man must also pay NOK 120,000 to the stepdaughter.
