Oslo police warn against violation of corona rules, fines range from 2,000 to 22,000 kroner

Oslo's police are asking the residents to follow the new corona regulations that the municipalities have introduced to stop the spread of the infection.

Oslo’s police are asking the residents to follow the new corona regulations that the municipalities have introduced to stop the spread of the infection. 

Those who violate the new regulations could face hefty fines.

The police noted in a press release states that they expect people to follow the new regulations.

The Oslo Police District pointed out that those who don’t follow the police’s advice and guidance could be fined up to 22,000 kroner.

“Pursuant to the Police Act, non-compliance with the police order will result in a fine of NOK 2,000. 

In special cases, we will report violations of the Infection Control Act. Such fines have so far ranged between 5,000 and 22,000 kroner,” the police warned.
