The prosecutor is asking for 15 years in prison for the 25-year-old who is accused of, among other things, trying to participate in several terrorist attacks abroad.

The trial against the 25-year-old from Skien has been ongoing in Oslo District Court since May 18, Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) informs.

The man is accused of three attempts to contribute to terrorist attacks abroad via chat groups he was administrating.

The man is also accused of participating in the terrorist group ISIS and sharing bomb recipes and ISIS propaganda.

On Tuesday, the prosecutor asked that the man be sentenced to 15 years in prison.

“I think there is reason to say that he has tried to motivate terrorist acts and help create a significant terrorist threat globally, but especially for Europe, the West, and Norway,” prosecutor Geir Evanger said in his closing proceedings.

The 25-year-old denies criminal guilt on all counts of terrorism.
