Oslo registered 70 new infection cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 70 new infection cases people have been registered in Oslo in the last 24 hours. That is 24 fewer than the average of the previous seven days, which was 94 infection cases per day.

On Saturday last week, 76 new cases of infection were registered.

A total of 1,580 infection cases have been registered in Norway’s capital in the last two weeks.

The Stovner and Søndre Nordstrand districts have the highest infection pressure, with 583 and 519 infection cases per 100,000 inhabitants. 

The lowest infection pressure has been registered in the Nordre Aker district, with 113 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

A total of 16,740 people in Oslo have tested positive for coronavirus since March last year.
