Six teenagers were found guilty in Oslo District Court of aggravated rape of a girl who was 15 years old when the crime occurred. They have to pay the girl a total of more than NOK 1 million in compensation.

Two boys aged 17 and one aged 18 have been sentenced to unconditional imprisonment, among other things, for raping a 15-year-old girl in Oslo.

Three others, two 18-year-olds and one 17-year-old, have been sentenced to community service. The six must pay a total of NOK 1,050,000 in compensation to the girl.

According to the indictment, all the accused boys were 15 or 16 years old when the abuse was committed in the summer and autumn of 2019.

The boys are said to have exposed the girl to aggravated rape, threats, violence, and bodily harm several times.

In the two most serious cases in the indictment, several boys joined forces to hold the girl or threatened to kill her while the rape took place.

The trial was held in Oslo District Court from February to March under strict rules on the prohibition of minutes and restriction of transparency in the court. The verdict against the boys was not announced until Monday.
