Oslo Municipality is launching drop-in vaccination for 16- and 17-year-olds. The offer starts on Monday at vaccine centers with available capacity.

The head of the vaccine program in Oslo, Miert Skjoldborg Lindboe, told the newspaper Avisa Oslo that all vaccine centers would open for drop-in vaccination of residents born in 2004 and 2005 from Monday.

Several youths in this age group have already been offered a vaccine, and now others will be able to register if they want the vaccine.

In the last two weeks, 4,022 people have been infected with coronavirus in Oslo. The most infected people in the last 14 days were registered in the age group 10 to 19 years, with 1,780 cases.
