A woman is accused of killing her mother in an apartment and trying to kill a random woman on Oslo S in November 2019.

The 37-year-old woman was arrested in the departure hall at Oslo S (Oslo Central Station) after attacking a random woman in her 60s with a knife on November 12, 2019.

Two days later, the police found the 37-year-old’s mother dead (killed with a knife) in the woman’s apartment at Sofienberg in Oslo.

The autopsy report concluded that she was probably killed on the same day as the knife attack on Oslo S or the day before.

According to TV 2, the woman is now charged with the murder of her own mother and for the attempted murder at Oslo S.

“Psychotic”

The woman has been in custody since she was arrested. The imprisonment was extended on Thursday last week.

The ruling news bureau NTB has been given access to states that the forensic psychiatric experts have concluded that the woman was psychotic at the time of the crime.

Several casualties

The 37-year-old first admitted to the murder but later changed her explanation and said she had nothing to do with it.

She will now be questioned again before the trial.

“I assume that it will be the last interrogation,” her lawyer Christian Flemmen Johansen told TV 2.

The woman is also charged with violence against ten other people between November 2017 and October 2020.
