A 33-year-old counter-protester has been sentenced to 25 days in prison for throwing stones at the police at a Stop the Islamization of Norway (SIAN) protest in Furuset in Oslo last year.

The woman participated in a counter-demonstration with her daughter on August 15 last year.

The woman explained in Oslo District Court that she was upset that her daughter was arrested, according to newspaper Rett24.

A video shown in court shows the woman holding a stone in each hand. She gave one stone to a young boy, who threw it at a police car. According to the police, the woman also threw stones.
