A passenger who was driven from Gothenburg to Oslo night to Saturday, failed to pay the bill of NOK 4,000. The passenger is being reported for fraud.
The passenger was driven to an address at Bjølsen in Oslo, and after about 300 kilometers on the road, he didn’t pay the bill.
Police assisted the Swedish taxi driver on Saturday night in trying to finding the passenger.
– “As the taxi driver stopped, the passenger ran into an entrance. We have some information to go on, so we are trying to track down this person,” operations manager Tor Jøkling of the Oslo Police District told NTB night on Saturday.
On Saturday morning, police say they located the passenger.
– He could not pay for himself and is reported for fraud. The taxi driver returned to Gothenburg, police say.
Police were notified of the incident just after 4 p.m.
