A female pedestrian was early Sunday hit in Agnes between Stavern and Larvik in Vestfold.
Police were nearby and came first to the place where they started treating the woman.
– She was described as partly unconscious, but for the moment we do not have details on the extent of the damage. She has been hit by a car, and there may also be damage that we do not see, said operations leader Jan Kristian Johnsrud in South-East police to news agency NTB at 1pm Saturday night.
A few minutes later, the ambulance was in place at the accident site.
The police have control of the man who drove the car.
