A person was hit by a garbage truck in Bergen, the police report.
Police reported the accident at 9:30 AM on Monday.
“We are now on-site with an ambulance and police. What we know so far is that the person is awake and conscious.
“The person in question is under the care of the health personnel that is currently at the location,” operations manager Jørgen Ommedal in the Western Police District told news bureau NTB.
The traffic accident took place in Liakroken in Bergen, where a community association is located.
“But it is currently unclear whether this happened along the road or within the area of the community association,” the operations manager added.
The course of events is unknown.
