PHOTO: Gas leak in Oslo stopped

The Oslo fire brigade has closed the gas leak at a construction site in Rusløkkveien in Oslo, where around 300 workers were evacuated on Monday morning.

The CO2 leak at a construction site in Rusløkkveien has been closed.

The leak is said to have occurred in a basement, and the police are treating the incident as a work accident. The cause is still being investigated.

“The leak has been stopped, and we have ended the operation. No person has been seriously injured,” the police in Oslo noted on Twitter.

Around 300 workers were evacuated on Monday morning in connection with the leak.
