When Norway shut down in March, King Harald was quarantined after a state visit to Jordan. Now, the Palace has released several pictures from the king’s time spent working from home.

Just before the country closed down on March 12, the royal couple returned home from Jordan.

It was the king and queen’s first official visit to the Middle East.

The royal couple had to be quarantined, and this meant that the king led the Council of State by telephone from the royal couple’s cabin Kongsseteren.

Pictures that the Palace published on Friday show King Harald working from a home office at the cabin.

“It was a strange feeling not to see the ministers. It is not the same when we are not in the same room. You lose the contact we normally have,” King Harald said in the book that Harald Stanghelle published this autumn, according to newspaper Aftenposten.

On May 7, the king was again able to lead a meeting of the Council of State in person.
