Swedish police are looking for the person who shot and killed a man and wounded a teenage boy in Stockholm late Tuesday night.

A man in his 40s died after being shot. A 16-year-old boy was also shot and seriously injured, the police said on Wednesday.

The shooting took place in Farsta, about 8 kilometers south of central Stockholm, just before 10 PM.

“One person was found at an entrance and the other a short distance away,” police spokesman Per Fahlström said.

There was also a shooting in the same part of Stockholm on Monday night. Witnesses saw a man on a bicycle firing several shots at a person outdoors in Farsta. Police found no injured people, and no one was arrested.

“We always look at whether there are connections between such incidents, but it is too early to establish this,” police spokeswoman Helena Boström Thomas said after the last shooting episode on Tuesday night.
