The Oslofjord tunnel has been closed after a truck burst into flames.
The fire has been extinguished, but that the tunnel remains closed due to clean-up work.
The emergency services moved out to both ends of the tunnel, operations manager Finn Håvard Aas in the Eastern Police District told news bureau NTB.
“A truck was on fire about fifty meters from the exit on the Drøbak side. There is a lot of smoke on the site,” he said at 8:30 AM.
According to Aas, no people were in the tunnel. At 8:41 AM, police reported that the fire brigade has control of the fire.
The vehicle entered the tunnel from the Hurum side, the police noted.
