A teacher and a teenage boy have been injured in a stabbing incident at a high school in Kristianstad. The condition of the boy is allegedly serious.
An 18-year-old has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, the police told the newspaper Expressen.
“He suddenly started stabbing in the classroom. Many of us ran out through an emergency exit,” a fellow student told the newspaper Kristianstadsbladet.
The stabbing took place at 9 o’clock on Monday morning on the first school day after the holidays. Police and an ambulance rushed to the scene, and the 18-year-old was arrested after a few minutes.
The teacher, who is 55 years old, is said to have suffered cuts.
