PHOTO: Truck overturns in Lørenskog, driver dies in the accident
A truck overturned on national road 159 at Robsrudkrysset in Lørenskog on Friday morning.
The driver’s death has been confirmed to NTB by operations manager Tom Sandberg.
“Relatives have been notified of the accident,” he said.
“The road is blocked in both directions. It will be closed for a longer period of time,” operations manager Finn Håvard Aas told news bureau NTB at 6:45 AM on Friday.
“It has been described as a serious accident,” Aas said. The police were notified of the accident at 5:47 AM on Friday.
“It is too early to say anything about the reason why the truck overturned,” Aas added.
Newspaper Romerikes Blad writes that the car behind the truck filmed the accident with its dashboard camera.
