Two men were shot on Wednesday at Trosterud in the Alna district in Oslo. They’re in a serious but stable condition. No one has been arrested in the case.

Both injured men are hospitalized.

“We are working intensely on-site and interrogating witnesses. At the same time, forensic technicians are working at the scene,” operations manager Vidar Pedersen in the Oslo Police District told news bureau NTB.

The police received the first report of the case at 1:15 AM on Wednesday.

“Several people contacted us about the incident,” Pedersen added.

Looking for perpetrators

He noted that the police are looking for one or more perpetrators. So far, the police have no idea if one or more people are responsible for the shooting.

“We plan to investigate several crime scenes, both outdoors and indoors,” Pedersen explained.

The police helicopter and several dog patrols searched for suspects through the night.

The newspaper VG has spoken to a witness who said he heard between three and six bangs.

“I did not think it was a shot at first. I looked out the window and saw two people running. Shortly afterward, another came,” he told the newspaper.
