At noon on Friday, a white dove was released from the windows of the Nobel Peace Center on the Town Hall Square in Oslo in connection with the Nobel Peace Prize.

Every Friday, the Nobel Peace Center releases a dove of peace along with positive news to help create hope and optimism in a conflict-ridden world.

The custom was introduced last year.

Today, the dove was released to mark the news that the Nobel Peace Prize 2021 was awarded to journalists Maria Ressa and Dmitry Muratov for their freedom of expression-related efforts in the Philippines and Russia.

  1. Meanwhile, WikiLeaks whistleblower and journalist Julian Assange remains imprisoned in England, yet was unrecognized with the other two by the Peace Committee
… which thus again appears to be a biased propaganda tool of the (radical chic wing of the) Western power elite/establishment.
