PM Johnson promises Ukraine armored vehicles within the next few days
Britain will send armored vehicles to Ukraine “in the next few days,” Prime Minister Boris Johnson promised during the weekend.
Johnson has assured President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that Britain “will continue to provide the funds Ukraine needs to defend itself,” a statement from Downing Street said on Saturday night.
In a telephone conversation, the two leaders also talked about the need for a long-term solution for Ukraine’s security.
The British Prime Minister also assured President Zelenskyy that he would continue to work with Britain’s partners to “ensure that Ukraine can defend its sovereignty in the coming weeks and months.”
