“When we face crises, it is good that we are responsible,” Norwegian Prime Minister and Labor Party leader Jonas Gahr Støre said on Tuesday.
Støre gave a speech at his party’s national board meeting on Tuesday and received standing ovations.
He went through some of the events take occurred since his government took office last autumn.
He assumed the position one day after the murder of five people in Kongsberg, in a time characterized by the corona pandemic, the energy crisis, and most recently, the war in Europe.
“We have not had bad luck. I would rather say that when we face crises, it is good that we are responsible, that our values give (us) direction in the face of crises,” he said.
