PM Støre to participate in Oslo Pride on September 10
Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre (AP) will take part in the rainbow parade during Oslo Pride on September 10.
“I intend to join that parade,” Støre told the newspaper VG on Friday.
On Saturday, September 10, a rainbow parade will be organized. It will go through the capital’s streets and end in a solidarity gathering at Kontraskjæret at Akershus fortress.
On the night of Saturday, June 25, two people were killed and dozens injured when 42-year-old Zaniar Matapour opened fire on two pubs in the center of Oslo, including the queer nightclub London Pub.
The Pride parade, which was to be held later that day, was canceled.
