Police have evacuated around 20 homes in Bamble. On Saturday, they will neutralize explosives that were found at a private address at Herre.
“The work will continue throughout the day, and the evacuees will be notified when they can move back home,” the South East Police District wrote on Twitter on Saturday morning.
They also state that Herreveien, which runs from Kilebygda to Surtebogen, could be closed for periods of up to one hour at a time throughout the day.
“Alternative routes are recommended,” the police noted.
On Thursday morning, the police made the first of several explosive finds at the address. One person was arrested in connection with the case.
