The police believe that the woman who was found dead at Fuglset in Molde on Wednesday was killed, police inspector Yngve Skogly told NTB.

“Yes, based on what was found at the scene,” Skogly answered when asked by NTB whether the police think the case is a murder case.

The police inspector did not want to share any additional details.

“No, we can’t say anything more about the details.”

At 1.:4 and 1:45 AM on Wednesday, the police in Molde received two reports – first a report of a serious incident of violence at a private address and then a report about a dead person at another address in central Molde.

At the first address, a person was found badly injured, and a Norwegian man in his 20s was arrested on the spot.

At the other address, in a house on Fuglset, the police found a dead person. Police are investigating whether there is a possible connection between the two incidents.
