The police state that they have found clothes in the same area by the waterfall at Tokagjelet in Hardanger where the boat of the three missing people was found earlier Monday.

The police task force leader Svein Valland Laupsa in the Western Police District stated on Monday afternoon that the search for the three missing people – two men and a woman – has been going on all day with large crews.

“We have searched in the waterfall, in the river, and in Movatnet, which goes out into the Hardangerfjord. We used rescue dogs, as well as rescue crews from the fire service, the Red Cross, and the Civil Defense.

“We focused near the waterfall down which the three have probably fallen. We have found objects, including clothing, near the place where the boat was found,” Laupsa said.
