Police in Fredrikstad worried due to multiple reports of youth parties
The police have responded to several reports of youth parties in Fredrikstad on Saturday.
A 14-year-old girl was transported from one of the parties in an ambulance after being so drunk that she had to get help from the police to walk.
“We have been to three or four such gatherings, and we have even more reports. If this is a trend, the parents must step forward and take responsibility,” operations manager Terje Marstad in the Eastern Police District told news bureau NTB.
“There have been a few dozen of people (at such events), so there is a complete disregard of infection control.
“Additionally, these children use both alcohol and drugs. This is not the time to let the young people gather,” the operations manager added.
