Two Teslas were stolen at Jessheim in Ullensaker in the last couple of days. Police warn Tesla owners to be careful as professional thieves are probably on the move.

The cars have been stolen from private courtyards at Frogner in Jessheim, the Eastern Police District announced.

The stolen cars are both Tesla Model S.

“The owners of similar cars are advised to be vigilant. There are probably professional thieves in the district,” the police warned.

Operations manager Jon Erik Nygård asks everyone who has a Tesla in the area to be extra careful not to place the key card too close to the car, even if it is inside the home.

“We have previously seen thieves use devices that amplify the signal from the key card,” Nygård told the newspaper Dagbladet.
